Carbide blades are brittle. Improper use or operating errors will often cause accidental damage to the blade, and in severe cases, dangerous accidents. In order to use the foot cutting machine blade correctly and safely, the following precautions must be strictly followed (by Zhuzhou Sanxin Courtesy of Cemented Carbide Manufacturing Co., Ltd.):
1. Listening inspection: Before installing the blade, hook the blade with one finger and hang it in the air. Use a wooden hammer to gently tap the blade a few times and listen to the sound. If it makes a dull sound, it often indicates that there are cracks. This kind of blade should be prohibited from use to avoid accidents!
2. Operating speed: The working speed of the cutting machine should be limited to below 4500 rpm
3. Blade installation: The rotation axis and the center of the blade must be accurately aligned. The blade must not be tilted after installation. When installing the blade, carefully clean the blade and the mechanical mounting surface. No cutting materials, dust or other debris should be left. Then fixed blade.
4. Installing protective device: The protective cover must be installed before the blade is operated (there should be baffles, steel plates, rubber and other protective equipment around the working room).
5. Testing: After the blade is installed, run the machine empty for 5 minutes and observe carefully. Vibration or other abnormal sounds are absolutely not allowed. If there is any, stop the machine immediately to check the cause.
6. How to store blades: it is strictly forbidden to use electric engraving or other scratching methods to write or mark on the blade. The edge of the blade is very sharp, but very brittle, avoiding impact on the blade. Blades to be used should be properly stored and do not put them aside!
